IT ALL STARTED WITH HEGHNAR...
She was the paternal grandmother of one of our oldest friends (now one of our most trusted associates). In a way, she treated us all like we were her grandchildren, even though she had the same youth and vigor as the rest of us.
Heghnar was the genesis of all of our trips, the spark that lit every spontaneous hike, weekend road trip, or sub-zero swimming races.
One could tell, in the first second they met her, that she was much too wild for the city. Windswept hair, grand twinkle in her eye, and sun spots that somehow only enhanced her face betrayed a spirit that loved the smell of pine-infused breezes and ragged roads.

Heghnar embodied the spirit of adventure and the untamed beauty of her home country, Armenia. Even during the last years of her life, she continued to carve her own path, lay her delicate footprint, on the forests, hills, and craggy lakesides of her home.
Her passing left a hole too large to be filled by adventures and stories told across the table alone. That's when we decided to name our platform after her. A tribute to a legacy, a nod to an undying spirit of exploration, and a commitment to share Armenia's best-kept secrets with the world.
